MyRole is a platform that encourages positive social change. With MyRole, you will be able to create and participate in petitions along with polls and share them with your friends. You can also donate to your choice of fundraisers and causes straight from the app, subscribe to monthly charity donations, and support urgent campaigns.

MyRole is a platform for positive social change, enabling users to create and participate in petitions, polls, and in-app donations to charities, with ID verification and personalized recommendations.
The app combines social good initiatives under one platform, simplifying petitions and donations while fostering community engagement. It operates as a not-for-profit initially, with a vision to evolve into a national voting platform. Challenges include complex system design, financial planning, and team-building, with ongoing efforts focused on development, fundraising, and trust-building launch campaigns.

My goal was to understand the motivations, behaviours, and pain points of socially conscious individuals and organizations in creating, signing, and supporting petitions, polls, and charitable donations, and to identify how technology can simplify and enhance their engagement for social change.

More accurate statistics in petitions as the hosts can require users with ID verification to participate, or to create any personal fundraising.
Fundraising and Donation
Users can donate to their choice of fundraisers and create fundraisings.
An Accessible Platform for Charities
MyRole brings all the charities under one easily accessible platform; and it has a subscription function where users will be able to subscribe to charities with auto monthly donations; allowing them to consistently donate without having to make much effort.
Just Like a Social Media for Social Goods
With a custom algorithm, the app suggests relevant causes to the user, urging them to participate.
Easy to Donate, Reliable Fundraising
Fundraisers are required to share the progress of the cause they're raising money for with the users so they can see where their donations are going.
Userflow:
Designing flow maps (userflows) helps streamline the design process by visually mapping out user journeys, ensuring intuitive navigation and a seamless experience. It identifies potential friction points, optimizes interactions, and aligns the team on functionality and structure. By clarifying decision pathways and touchpoints, user flows enhance efficiency, reduce development revisions, and improve overall usability.
