IntelliCourse was created to address the limitations of traditional education by leveraging AI to deliver personalized and scalable learning experiences.

The platform was created to make quality education accessible to all. User research drove features like course generation, real-time feedback, and community learning. It also offers micro-credentials to enhance employability.

Problem

Learning is a human right, but it's not democratized

Traditional education is rigid, costly, and lacks adaptability, limiting access to flexible learning.

Research

Competitor Analysis

My main research objective was to understand user needs for personalized, flexible, and engaging e-learning experiences.

Platforms with AI features

Competitor Analysis: platforms like Khan Academy, Coursera, edX, SC Training, and Mindsmith cluster towards the “Very Accessible & High Innovation” corner – they offer a lot of value at low cost, with modern AI features. Squirrel AI, Carnegie Learning, and to a degree Steppit sit in the “High Innovation but Less Accessible” quadrant – excellent immersive AI experiences but behind paywalls or institutional access. Coursable is the opposite, being highly accessible but offering a more basic experience (curation over immersion). And platforms like Edmentum (and partially Udacity or LinkedIn Learning) fall in the “Less Accessible & Lower Innovation” area – they have a cost barrier and provide a more conventional learning experience, making them the more traditional options on this map. Each competitor’s placement reflects how well they balance broad access with cutting-edge, engaging learning techniques as of 2025.

Ideation

IntelliCourse and Orator.ai were developed at AI hackathons to tackle education and public speaking challenges using generative AI.

Solution

IntelliCourse is an online platform that generates courses based on user prompts, allowing customization of level, assignments, and materials.

Users submit work for real-time feedback and grading. A community page fosters engagement through discussions and knowledge sharing.
